A Prayer for Our Men

Genesis 12:1-3

The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

“I will make you into a great nation,
    and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
    and you will be a blessing.

 I will bless those who bless you,
    and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
    will be blessed through you.”

     Genesis 12:1-3 has been my prayer for the men of my generation. I thank God for you all. I believe God has set you apart. He has called you to leave your father's household (to leave behind the ways of the generations of men before you) and to go to the land He will show you. He will make you great, a blessing to all the peoples on earth. He will use you to do even greater works than Jesus did when He was on the earth (John 14:12). He will pour out His Spirit on you and give you visions and dreams (Acts 2:17). He has commanded you: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9). 

     Girls that are reading this, I hope you'll pray with me for our men.

     Guys that are reading this, thank you for being awesome and letting God lead you! Can't wait to see what you do!
